What is a trustee?
Trustees are volunteers that work as a team and are legally responsible for a charity. In other words, they provide the strategic direction and governance of charities.

Camden Trustee Network
Camden trustees are integral to the local VCSE and critical to the quality of community service provision in the borough.
The Camden Trustee Network brings together trustees from different Camden VCSE organisations to share experience, good practice, ideas and offer peer support.
The network is a partnership established by Volunteer Centre Camden (VCC) and Voluntary Action Camden (VAC) to help share skills, knowledge and enable peer support. VCC and VAC work to support the VCSE and understand the enormous contribution and importance trustees provide and this network will help provide valuable insight into the sector and help identify gaps, issues and future learning and development needs of trustees.

Trustees’ Week
Once a year trustees across the UK are celebrated. This year Trustees’ Week (TW) runs from Monday 4th – Friday 8th November 2024. The Trustees’ Week website is an excellent source of information on all things trustee-related including a trustee quiz, a calendar of events, TW news and updates (which redirects you to the TW X account), a supporter toolkit, five-minute guides and trustee stories.
