Join us at our Camden & Islington Trustee Recruitment Fair which we are co-hosting with our friends at Volunteer Centre Islington, in partnership with Camden Giving and The Big Alliance on Thursday 17th November, 7-8.30pm online. (Zoom link TBA, sign ups on Eventbrite)
The organisations recruiting trustees at this event are as follows:
- Homestart Camden & Islington
- Laamiga
- St Pancras Community Association
- West Hamsptead Women’s Centre
- Head Held High
- Elfrida Rathbone
- Goal Youth Club
- Hunter and Maestro Football Club
- Voluntary Action Islington
- Minority Matters
Event Timetable
7-7.10pm Welcomes and introductions from the hosts. Explanation of the fair and how it will work.
7.10-7.30pm Brief pitch for volunteers from the organisations
Then all organisations recruiting volunteers will be popped into breakout rooms. Volunteers can choose to join them there. Each organisation will deliver a short presentation about the volunteering role(s), the organisation itself and the benefits of volunteering with them. This will be repeated three times (see below for timings). You can choose to attend one breakout room, three different rooms or anything in between.
7.30-8.30pm Breakout rooms and a chance to hear more about each organisation and what they’re looking for
8pm Event ends, everyone back in the main room for a very quick reminder of the next steps, and then a brief thank you and goodbye!
PLEASE NOTE: Tickets are only needed for people who want to find out about volunteering as trustees in Camden and Islington. You can book your free place to attend here on Eventbrite.
