Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice Is Recruiting For A Number Of Paid Roles
Have a look at what they are looking for below, and please pass the message on to anyone who may be interested:
Vacancy: Trust Fundraiser
Deadline: Thursday 14th July (early applications encouraged)
Interview date: Tuesday 19th July
Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice provides care and support for babies, children and young people who have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions, enabling them to live life as fully as possible and achieve their aspirations. Working across North London and Hertsmere, we also support families during their child’s life and help them face the future with hope after the death of their child and throughout bereavement.
This is a hugely exciting time to be joining Noah’s Ark as we look to raise the funds required to grow our Care Team and construct what will be the only children’s hospice building in North London. Our expanded care provision will ensure that we are able to provide a wider breadth of care for more of the 1,169 children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions in our catchment area.
Overview of the role
Over the last six months we have overhauled our trust fundraising strategy and plan to significantly increase the trust fundraising income this year. The Trust Fundraiser will play an important role in helping to boost the charity’s income during this exciting period.
The post will focus primarily on raising funds for the day-to-day care delivery of the charity but there will also be scope to assist with capital appeal and corporate fundraising applications. The post holder will be well supported but will also have a high degree of autonomy to shape and lead the charity’s trust fundraising programme.
This is a full-time role but we are open to discussing the possibility of flexible working arrangements.
Experience and skills needed for the role
We are looking for somebody who enjoys the art of crafting compelling funding applications, a self-starter who will work strategically, develop relationships and enjoy the responsibility of leading the charity’s trust programme. You will have a real commitment to making a difference for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, and their families.

Vacancy: Registered Nurse – Band 5 equivalent
Salary: Agenda for change Band 5
We seek a sparkling jewel in the crown of our ambitions, completing our palliative care provision for children and young people. Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice is a fast growing community based hospice service providing support for children and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and their families in North London.
We are encouraging Band 5 Nurses to apply and offering a full preceptorship period for newly qualified Nurses, surely you would find no opportunity more rewarding than this. We are extremely proud of our high-quality care – delivered by a small team to 187 families last year. However, with the addition of new Nurses, we will be able to expand our provision of short breaks and end-of-life care at home or in the community.
Joining the organisation at this time allows a new Nurse to contribute personally in vital service development. And, as our service evolves, this in turn provides rare opportunities for a Nurse looking to develop their skills in new directions.
