Did you know that Camden Council has just re-opened their ‘think & do’ pop up community space for climate and eco action in Kentish Town? This is in response to the Citizens’ Assembly recommendation to do more to bring existing community groups together to work on tackling the climate crisis.
What’s happening at the pop-up?
The aim of the pop-up, which is opposite the library on Kentish Town High Street, is to give people in Camden the chance to take part in, run and grow activities that get people more involved in tackling the climate crisis. From clothes swaps to meals made from surplus veg, there are a variety of events coming up that we’d love you to attend.
The 6-week programme of events is being curated and led by Camden residents and community groups and the schedule for the first week of the pop-up is here. As a member of the local community they’d love to invite you down to see the space for yourself. If none of the events take your fancy, you’re still welcome to pop in for a chat over a hot drink or you could consider organising your own event at the space? To do this, please get in touch with one of the team via email to find out more: email@example.com
Where is the community space and when is it open?
We’re the mint green building at 315 Kentish Town Rd, Kentish Town, London NW5 2TJ which is opposite the library. We’re open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10am – 8pm now until 7th December.
Help us raise awareness for the pop-up
We’re really keen to engage with lots of people from across Camden so we’d really appreciate it if you’d consider sharing this email with your local networks so they can find out more about the pop-up.
Thank you for reading and they hope to see you at the pop-up over the next few weeks. If you’ve got any questions, or want more info check out the ‘Think & Do’ Camden website.
