A recent article in the Guardian states that the number of men volunteering has not only surpassed the number of women volunteering, but that volunteering numbers in general are on the rise.
This is very interesting, as this bucks the gender ratio in every report we’ve read. This includes our own experience, where the ratio is 70%-30% of the people that find out about volunteering through our services.
Could this be down to youth volunteering? Any thoughts?
