Volunteering for your business
Volunteer Centre Camden can support your business to involve staff as volunteers in the Camden community through our not-for-profit Team UP service. Team UP’s social mission is to help businesses to support the community through volunteering and related activities.
Business volunteering has excellent benefits for staff development, improved morale, and takes your corporate social responsibility to the next level. Acquire and retain the great talent in your organisation through high quality and high impact volunteering in your local community.
We work with employers and charities to set up and facilitate volunteering projects, with a focus on skill-sharing and sustainable relationships. We arrange introductions and provide full team volunteering management for employee volunteers (sourcing appropriate volunteering opportunities, risk assessments, CRB/DBS checks, insurance, ordering materials and equipment, full briefing for volunteers, photos and publicity, impact report). Our aim is for businesses to deliver impactful volunteering that really makes a difference and, where possible, an ongoing relationship with the organisation being supported.
Team Challenges
Getting the team out of the office, breaking silos, doing good in the community – a single day team volunteering event with measurable “before” and “after” impact, will engage your staff while addressing a community need.
These days are fully planned, resourced, insured and risk assessed, and therefore do incur a cost.

Help That Charities Need
There are tasks that charities always need help with – from leafleting to make sure that the locals are aware of them and their services, to bucket shaking at tube stations, and more.
These tasks can be done as a team, and there is no charge for organising them.
