Interested in public engagement?
Want to gain some experience?
This November, Senate House will be the University of London’s hub for Being Human, the UK’s national festival for the humanities.
They’re hosting an exciting and diverse programme of events, exhibitions and performances, and if you’re interested in gaining public engagement experience there couldn’t be a better opportunity to get involved!
They are looking for volunteers for a number of different roles , including:
- Welcoming visitors and audiences during the festival
- Helping with the smooth running of events
- Assisting with social media
- Assisting with this year’s festival evaluation
The Festival runs from 17-25 November (except Sunday 20 and Tuesday 22) and needs volunteers during the day and early evening on all days.
Please note, they’ll provide a small stipend for food expenses for shifts over 3 hours, but unfortunately they’re unable to cover travel costs.
