Welcome to Trustees’ Week 2019. This is an annual celebration of trustees and all they do for voluntary organisations in Camden and beyond. It’s also a chance for trustees and chairs to come together to learn, share and network.
What is a trustee?
According to the Trustees’ Week website:
Trustees are the people in charge of a charity. They help to make the UK the sixth most giving country in the world.
They play a vital role, volunteering their time and working together to make important decisions about the charity’s work.
Trustees’ Week is an annual event to showcase the great work that trustees do and highlight opportunities for people from all walks of life to get involved and make a difference.
How can I take part?
If you’re recruiting a trustee, then your first step is to add the role to our website. Simply Connect makes it quick and easy to advertise the skills and experience of what you are looking for, and gives you direct contact with the applicants. It’s also open 24/7 and the trustee roles that are live on our website, will be featured in our Trustees’ Week campaign.
