Welcome to Mental Health Awareness Week 2020. This year with the emergence of COVID-19 and the lockdown many of us have been given the chance to slow down, re-evaluate and most of all be kind.
What does that look like in practice? Kindness can be anything from checking in on neighbours, to dropping off donations to a food bank to practicing self care. It all adds up.
With all of this in mind, there’s plenty of opportunities now and always to practice kindness through volunteering in Camden and beyond. And this will continue to be the case, whatever the new normal looks like.
Ready for your next dose of kindness? Visit Time to Spare and Simply Connect or Furlough Go for those of you who want to give your time or skills locally. Or check out our COVID-19 post for details of your local mutual aid group and to download our good neighbour guide.
