Age UK Camden has organised a day trip to the seaside this Thursday. One of the clients who booked to go on the day trip from Hampstead to Eastbourne this Thursday had also arranged for a chaperone to go along with him, but she is now unable to go.
The gentleman would be very disappointed not to be able to go on this trip, but he really could do with a companion. He is mobile, although he uses a walker frame. (Age UK could lend a wheelchair for the day, which may be helpful depending on the amount of walking.) He is good company (very engaging, well educated, polite and funny). However he can get flustered very easily and seems to panic but this is usually very short lived. His eyesight is not great. He does not need toilet assistance but does carry pads with him in case of mishaps.
Age UK Camden is looking for anyone who could help out this charming gentleman the ticket is paid for already. The trip is scheduled to leave Hampstead Community Centre 9am and return approximately 7pm. Is that you?
