Hello everyone, and many thanks to those of you who attended yesterday’s volunteer coordinators’ forum.
21 coordinators attended and the overall satisfaction was high – so glad to hear it!
As you know, we concentrated on one theme for the last few events, and it seems like most people would prefer to talk about a number of topics. So for the next forum we will do this.
Also based on the feedback, we will be booking a larger venue for the next forum.
Ideally, we need a room that comfortably holds 50 seated (so that the participants have room to move around and feel comfy). It also needs to be easy to get to, to be fully accessible as well as value for money. If you have any suggestions, please let us know by contacting Sheila by email.
One final thing, it seems like most of you didn’t attend the event for the networking lunch. If we didn’t offer lunch for the next event, would that affect the appeal of the forum? Please let me know either way.
Many thanks again. Remember, we do what we do for you. So let us know what you want.
Further to all of this, here is the Powerpoint presentation we used on the day SHORT VERSION VCF Dealing with Tricky Situations presentation 28th June 2016.
