We are happy to announce another essential training course for volunteer coordinators. And this time we will be concentrating on ‘Influencing Up’.
People with responsibility for coordinating volunteers repeatedly tell us that they would like to have more influence within their organisation. This course will include hints and tips to do just that. The session will include a panel discussion including three Chief Executives:
- Jan Tallis (School Home Support, brings the perspective of a national organisation CEO)
- Gary Jones (Age UK Camden, a successful and well regarded local organisation who involve many volunteers in a wide variety of roles )
- Alexis Keir (Elfrida Rathbone, a local organisation who have done a huge amount in recent years to support and develop volunteering)
All three CEOs will be talking about what influences them, and answering your questions. As part of the session you will prepare your next steps to promote your volunteer project, and develop a better understanding of what does and doesn’t get the attention of senior leaders. You can’t really afford to miss it. 🙂
Volunteer Centre Camden is subsidising places on this course for Camden organisations.
Non Camden organisations £59
We look forward to seeing you there. (FYI: This training will take place at Clean Break in Kentish Town, and you can sign up on eventbrite here.)
