Well, when it rains it pours… We are hosting TWO Camden and Islington volunteering fairs this Autumn!!
Why come to our Autumn 2018 Volunteering Fairs? To find your perfect volunteering role, of course…
Did you know volunteering has a number of surprising benefits? Want to get fit, make new friends ot try something new? Volunteering can help you do all of that — and more! With this in mind, we are offering you a chance to meet local organisations that are looking for volunteers in Camden and Islington.
And we are joining forces with our good friends @ Volunteer Centre Islington to bring you both Autumn 2018 fairs. Nice one!
Come and see us in the heart of King’s Cross at
- Lewis Cubitt Square (right next to Granary Square, the one with the fountains), N1C 4LW on Friday 21st September, 12-2pm
- Voluntary Action Islington, 200a Pentonville Road, N1 9JP, Wednesday 31st October, 12-2pm
As always, if you are a volunteer there’s no need to book. Just pop in.
However, if you are a non-profit that wants to recruit volunteers in Camden or Islington at the fair, then book your free place for both fairs via Eventbrite.
We look forward to seeing you there. 🙂
NOTE TO ORGANISATIONS: The space for the September fair has been kindly donated by Argent, in part so that their 1000s of employees can volunteer locally. With this in mind the organisations that take part will need to offer volunteering roles in Camden and / or islington only, and within easy distance of King’s Cross. Participants will also need to have flexible volunteering roles available, so everything from short-term, one-off or ‘consultancy’ type volunteering roles, roles offered outside normal office hours as well as regular ongoing roles.
With this in mind, we will be asking all participants to let us know where the roles take place and details about the roles they will be recruiting for, so that we can make sure that it fits with what the potential volunteers are looking for. However, saying that, this is an outdoor fair (with covered stalls!) so anyone can drop by which is why it’s important to have a variety of roles on offer.
